Dog!2p!England X Reader-Smile!

“I want a tough dog. This one looks pathetic.”You said flatly.

“(F/n), there were plenty of tough dogs that you denied, so LIKE IT OR LUMP IT!!!”Elizabeta yelled.

“D*mn girl.”You said.

Once you said that the yellow dog barked at you.

“His name is Oliver and he always barks when someone curses.”Elizabeta stated.

“If I adopt him he will be barking like crazy.”

“He is a happy, energetic dog.”

“Fine! I’ll take him.”You said.

Oliver started to jump around and bark.

“See! He’s smiling, so why don’t you smile?”Elizabeta complained.

“I don’t smile.” You replied.

Elizabeta gave out a heavy sigh and gave you the paper work and stuff.

You were slightly worried that Oliver would run off, but he didn’t. He followed your lead into the car. He was a very well trained dog. You made it to Pet Smart and opened the door for Oliver.

He walked out the car and sat down.

“Come on.”You said, leading him in the store.

You wanted to give him a collar first. You chose  a brown leather collar and a black collar with spikes. You should Oliver the two collars.

Oliver whined and pulled out a bright blue collar with a bow tie on it.

“My dog is weak.”You said.

But none the less you got it for him. You also got this cupcake dog toy. When you got in the car you found out that the toy could squeak.

*Squeak*

“Oh, hell no!”You whined.

*squeak**squeak*

“D*mn it.”You said realizing what Elizabeta said earlier, about Oliver not liking bad words.

*Squeak* *squeak* *Squeak*

“Shut the f*ck up!”You yelled.

*squeak**squeak**squeak**squeak**squeak**squeak*

“Sorry.”You mumbled.

Then Oliver stopped squeaking the cupcake. Once you guys finally made it home, you saw your friend Arthur.

“Arthur?”You asked.

“Oh, hello love! I made my famous scones! Care to try one?”Arthur asked.

“Umm…I would like to hang out with my new dog.”You replied.

“Oh, alright then. What’s his name?”Arthur asked.

“Oliver. I wanted something more tough and awesome!”You said.

“You sound like those bloody wankers I know.”Arthur frowned.

Oliver barked.

“He hates bad words.”

“He wouldn’t last a day with me.”Arthur said entering your kitchen.

You sat down on your couch and watched it with Oliver. Oliver just kept licking your face even though you scolded him.

“I’m going to the bathroom. Stay!”You told Oliver.

Oliver whined and laid down, his tail not moving as much.

You came out of the bathroom to see Arthur and his…twin?

“Arthur?”

“Love, this is Oliver.”Arthur said.

“What?”You said.

“Oh, poppet! How I missed you so! See, Arthur dear made me human as your surprise! Want a cupcake?”Oliver said happily.

You grabbed the cupcake and bit into it. It tasted amazing! You smiled.

“Yes! I made poppet smile!”Oliver cheered.

“Hey Arthur, is Ollie here your opposite?”You giggled.

“(F/n)! I’ll just ask Alfred if he wants MY scones. I didn’t make them for you anyway.”Arthur said walking out your house.

You walked to the door and yelled.”Thanks for making my buddy human!”And closed the door.

“Poppet!”Oliver yelled hugging you.

“What was in that cupcake?”You asked smiling.

“My special ingredient! It can make anyone smile or change.”Oliver said.

“Let’s have some more!”

“Alright!”

The rest of the night you spent cuddling to Oliver, eating cupcakes and watching Doctor Who.
